Our best house CGIs of 2018

External CGIs of houses are our most requested image to be created, so we had a lot to look over to choose our Top 5 of 2018.

Rest assured those that didn't make the list were wonderful images as well, but because of the design of the following 5 house types, it made creating our CGIs that much easier.

So here they are for your viewing pleasure, from no.5 down to no.1

No.5 - barn conversion CGI - St Buryan - Dama Property

Barn conversion cgi

A tricky project, this building was a conversion of an existing barn, and so we had to match up our CGI brickwork to the existing buiding, which had been weathered over many, many years.

But the end result is a house with lovely combination of the old and new - old brickwork, and new door, windows and decking, brought to life with CGI.

No.4 - Holyrood House, MCD developments

Height, width, depth, levels, slopes, angles, textures, balconies - you name it, this building had it, and with the complexity of the design we had to find a way to make the CGI homely and liveable. Great fun to get our heads round, and make it work to ensure a happy developer.

No.3 - Ballickacre Barns, PJT Developments

Another barn conversion, but what a house! Triple height windows anyone? Orginal stone brickwork, timber cladding, loads of glass and steel? A great design, stunning CGI if we say so ourselves, and a beautiful place to call your home.

No.2 - Merleswood - SMI Construction

If only for the size of this house - who fancies owning this property? Obviously you'd need at least three cars to park in the triple garage, as well either a large family or lots of friends to fill the 6 bedrooms. And we'd thought we'd show you the indoor swimming pool CGI we created for this house as well. Keep on dreaming....

and in at No.1 - Pack House - Grant and Co Estate Agents

What we love about this house is how well it sits on a steep rising site, without the need to escalate the upper levels. The architect here has chosen to elevate the lower floors, bringing the ground floor accommodation higher up, creating this marvellous drive-in undercroft car parking. A gorgeous decking area sits above this, avoiding any views of cars in the driveway, and concentrating the view out onto the garden. Double height windows bring loads of light into the main accommodation, and yet for a house of this size it doesn't feel over powering, and fits perfectly into the peaceful woodland scene behind it. So top marks to the architect, and top marks to Nav, our main house designer, for bringing this CGI to life.
